Women's Fly Fishing
Shannon Mahre is passionate about getting women into fly fishing, AND giving them the skills and knowledge to tie their own knots, dial in their casting, read the river, get the right gear and get out on the water with confidence.
During the summer and fall months, Shannon offers guided wading trips and fishalong courses on the Naches + Tieton Rivers, which are ideal for anglers looking to explore wild trout water on foot.
In the spring, her focus shifts towards education, leading intro classes for Red's Fly Shop and women’s wade fishing clinics on the Yakima River. These clinics are all about learning in a fun, encouraging environment with hands-on instruction and real river experience.

A day for women of all ages and skills. We'll start the day with Yoga, then follow with workshops led by Shannon + Ashtyn. Meet other women anglers and make some new adventure friends. Oh, and lunch will most definitely be had at Canyon River Grill after the open house.
